Happy Superbowl Sunday to y’all! Welcome back to the weekend surf report with NSR and Parker. The swell is starting to die but the morning was still fun. Check it out and a couple updates in the commercial center!
The waves are in the chest/shoulder high and set waves clocking in at head high. At low tide, the waves were powerful and slightly hollow!
As usual, the corners were playful. Don’t fall too hard because the inside section is lined with smooth rocks on the bottom!
After the tide started pushing in, the inside rights were piping! Too bad the only charger was a lone pelican…
How often do you say there are more waves per set than people in the line up? Rather than answering that question, get out there!
This was the other guy dropped off by boat. If you are taking a boat trip in southern Nicaragua during heavy winds, please be careful and go with a knowledgeable captain!
Check out how hollow that wave is because of the sandbar and offshores. You could fit a Toyota Hilux in there!
If you don’t want to attend India’s bootcamp workout tomorrow morning, grab a bike. Ride it in the sand into the wind for your daily workout… As for me, I’ll use a 125 horsepower moto!
Look at the offshore spray! At sunrise, the winds were gentle but now it is howling. There are still waves to be had despite the winds.
If you go right, you predict the Broncos win. If you go left, you bet on the Panthers. I’ll take the right and predict a 27-24 Broncos win. Come on, Peyton!!
Checking in at the Iguana commercial center, Olga’s Satori Spa and Wellness open last night. Congrats to you and Robert for all your hard work and preparation!
Ladies, we know our historic reputation is a surf destination. However, more female friendly activities (besides surfing) are opening up every year. Liz, Lindsey, Arya, and Kelsey are getting dolled up for their men (Ayra better not have a boyfriend yet!!!).
Mani/pedi, massages, facials, and other relaxing treatments are offered here. As a side note for the guys, the chairs are extremely comfortable if you are waiting on your lady.

His inner diver came out and he bribed us his Scoops and Spokes delicious ice cream to get our thumbs painted too. For the record, my dolphin (right) looks the best…
They call it a MANicure for a reason, right? It goes well with a shaka.
