There were waves at Panga Drops but the few surfers out there were having a really hard time to catch them because of the strong offshore wind.

If you have surfed Panga Drops you should know that this wave is kinda hard to get on normal conditions, most of the times it requires a late drop… now imaging trying to catch it with strong winds blowing in your face and pushing you back… I didn’t see many rides today.

Mateo “Big Kahuna” Guerrero tried to go out with his boogieboard but the conditions didn’t favored him.

The whole beach was empty, only this guy with his dog were the only ones fighting the blowing sand.

The was a group of frigatebirds flying around fighting the winds that called my attention.

One by one, going in circles, they started going for the sand to get some kind of food.

At the beginning I thought they were getting crabs.

But then I looked closer and I found out that they were getting some little fish out of the shallow water and wet sand. It was a great show!

Watching the magnificent frigatebirds was a better show than watching surfing… this was the best move I saw today.
