The usual A-frames were not showing today but still there were waves to both sides… here is a nice short right.
And here is a nice long left. And as you all should know by now, the lefts were way better.
The lefts had more push, were hollower and longer than the rights, and the few surfers out there were all about them.
Home sweet home!
This guy was fishing with his handline right in front of me while I was taking photos, he was not even knee deep.
But in less than 10 minutes I saw him catching 3 fish! Imagine that fish deep fried, with some rice and beans and a tortilla… perfect dinner! (mouth-watering just with that tought!)
A handline in hand and a bucket full of water to keep the catch alive and as fresh as possible.
Mario Martinez was one of the few people surfing today, and guess what, he was killing the lefts as always.
He is always going big on every wave, either getting the biggest barrels or going for the biggest airs.
Today it’s Hot Carl’s birthday so don’t forget to send him a message to wishes him a great day!
We had a great celebration yesterday at his house, and as you can see, he was having a great time! Happy birthday buddy!
That’s it for today folks, looks like there will be some better waves in the next few days so come back and stay tune. Cheers!

FROM THE ARCHIVES
Hey guys! Kevin here with Sunday’s surf report! Swell was definitely down in size a little from yesterday, but it was still really fun out there! Longboards were definitely the call this afternoon. Since the sunset has been so nice the last few days I decided to hop in the water for this evening’s surf..
