It looked like the call was The reef for todays report. It had to most consistent and biggest surf.
Jan surfs this wave quite a bit. If he’s over on this side, then you know this was the best call for a surf in the afternoon.
Mostly long boarders out there this afternoon. A couple short boarders, but I think the better call was with a big log out there so you could catch as many waves as possible.
I wasn’t joking when I said there many people out enjoying the beach life.
Here’s one of the shortboards. Not sure who this guy is but he looked like he was having a pretty fun session.
And here’s the other guy. The rights were really long and had really nice walls on them for a lot of turns. This guy must have rode for at least 100 yards or so.
Alex always rides his trusty LB at this wave. He also knows how to make it look stylish and fun all at the same time.
Wave number 20 or maybe more, by the time I figured I had enough good content for the report. Aloha Alex!!
The backdrop for one of the best beaches in all of Nicaragua, right here!
This was just before it started to rain. It was mother natures way of telling me it was time to pack it up and head on home. Thanks for stopping by. See ya again tomorrow.

Aloha Friday everyone! Yes, in saying “Aloha” I intend to send a great big Hawaiian vibe to you all, but make no mistake about it…. the waves are nothing like Hawaii, here right now. In Fact it’s pretty small. BUT, it’s still fun as heck and the crowd factor is EPIC!
Kevin here with Thursday’s report! I’ve got an interesting report for you guys today. NSR teamed up with surf guide Chris Connor from ADL (A Day in the Life), to take some of our guests on a day trip outside of Hacienda Iguana to escape the crowds. Needless to say, we scored. Scroll down for..
