Believe it or not, some of our New Year swell arrived a little early today. Not by a lot, but some fun little front runners that were breaking the 3 foot mark out there (Finally!!!!).
We’re forecast for some really fun 3-5 foot surfing over the next 4 or 5 days. Wahooooo!!!
People were literally flipping out! hahaha
Emiliano driving down the line on this really nice left. Imagine this will be about double in size the next few days.
One of the best and maybe most popular extracurricular activities other than surfing you can do here at the playa in Hacienda Iguana.
This is number ONE!!! Golfing, unfortunately has to take the seat at #2. But not a bad opting for those few lay days during the year.
Ryan almost hanging “Heel”. Never have I seen someone hanging heel? Nice move chavalo!!!
So, with this expected swell, I am certain the beach break will light up again.
What a way to kick off the new year…. a brand new pulsing swell on the first day of 2020.
You’re definitely going to have check in for tomorrows report, as Baldo will be on shooting duty and I’m sorta jealous, because he’s going to get dibs on the first photos and waves of the year!
For those who are already here and whether they came with the swell in mind, or it was just a a bit of luck. I’m sure any and all surfers are going to be frothing on the waves!
Pretty much like this dude!
It’s not quite time yet here….. but in another country far across the globe, it’s getting closer by the min!!
Tonight will be lit up all over the planet with this….. LOTS AND LOTS of THIS!!!!!
And by Midnight wherever you are or whenever you’re reading this, NSR and myself want to say thank you for always checking out our continued daily surf reports for the last 15 years!!! Happy New Year to you all and here’s to an AWESOME 2020!!!! Hope to see you down here. Cheers ~
RECENT REPORTS
Hey amigos! Josh back behind the lens for next set of days. Monday’s surf report is coming your way from Panga Drops, specifically “French Fries”. The swell was close to non-existent, but Pangas did its magic and magnified the lackluster size into something playful and shreddable.
