Somewhere in Nicaragua
Hi everyone! Welcome to Monday’s surf report from main peak Pangas and the Costa Mar peak. The surf was pretty similar to yesterday, in other words it was really fun! Light crowd this morning too.
A nice deep bottom turn from this unknown rider with a cool turquoise mid-length.
The crisp offshore winds helped him chuck some extra powder out the back.
One difference between today and yesterday is that there were more peaks today as compared to racey walls. This guy got a nice snap in on this left corner.
Ah man! You gotta pull into these barrels! Sure it’s going to close-out, but this is about as good as you’re gonna get until Colorados comes back to life haha.

I can personally testify that there were some gems out there if you sat in the right spot and were patient. Probably the hollowest waves I’ve seen in some time (not including Spot X because it is a novelty peak haha).
Lesther braved the cold water to grab a few nuggets this morning.
It wasn’t just the rights that were hollow…
Lesther consistently demonstrates excellent form with his backside bottom turns. Check how his lead hand is touching the water surface.
Then he put his fins and rail to work with a quick snap.
Thanks for checking in guys! There was less content today as surprisingly fewer surfers were out and nobody lasted long out there. It seemed fine to me when I paddled out after shooting haha! You can see the thickness of the swell line at Los Perros showing the extra power (in the form of swell interval) we received this past swell. Tomorrow should still be playful, but will probably be smaller than the past couple of days. Hasta mañana.

Happy Saturday folks! Today’s already started out to be a pretty nice weekend day. The sun is out shining bright, there are nice waves, cool breezes to stave off that otherwise hot hot sun. Looks like it’s going to be a great weekend!
