John managed to sneak into most of the better lefts that rolled through while I was shooting this morning.
He got pretty deep on this one. All of us on the beach watched with anticipation.
One last glimpse of John as he drives into the second section of the barrel. This wave ultimately ran too fast on him.
Kevin lifting off into a high frontside boost.
John teeing up and repping the Action surfboard. Bobby Webb is a great shaper!
Jackson was very patient at the South peak waiting for his time to shine. It came to him in the form of this thick, inside, double-up runner.
Kevin letting his twin fins catch a glimpse of the cool morning breeze.
Kevin was fired up today. I think he caught at least one wave for every three minutes that passed. Kevin is a wizard with rodeo airs.
Although he didn’t ride out of the move, I wanted to share this shot so that you can see how close he came. His feet landed on the board which is hard to believe when you see where his feet and legs are in the prior image haha. I told you he’s a wizard.
John sliding through one last crystal blue cylinder to close today’s surf action.
Thanks for checking out the report amigos! Were the waves all that I was hyping them up to be? Definitely not. Were the waves fun and the crowds light? Definitely! We’ll take fun days at Colorados after months and months of Pangas haha. Tomorrow looks identical, so be sure to stop back in for more playful surf.
