Hey everyone. Welcome to Friday’s surf report from Playa Colorado. The waves were a touch bigger today, but also slower between the sets and definitely windier.
There were 10 to 15 surfers out this morning, but few people were in the right position when the sets came. Lots of riderless beauties like this left cavern.
Jeison was one of the few surfers who managed to sneak into a few nuggets. He’s starting to lift on his rail to generate drive through the barrel.
Bruno also got a couple nice barrels this morning. I guess he decided to capture the view for some of the rest of the spectators from around the world.
It was slow out there, and pretty chilly too. Jeison stayed busy with this backside smack and spray. Stay busy to stay warm.
I have a distaste for the South Peak, but I must admit that it was working alright there today. Pretty much nobody on it except John at the end of the session.
John got tired of waiting at the standard North peak that we like and tried things down South. He was rewarded with some travel time on some fun sized lefts.
There weren’t many rights today, but when they did come they were hollow.
Dang… It’s a shame nobody got this one. Probably the prettiest wave I saw all morning.

Well amigos, it wasn’t quite as consistent as I was hoping for today, but there were some keepers if you were patient. The wind pulsed pretty hard in the late morning and early afternoon window, which was a bummer. Tomorrow the size is supposed to be ok, but the wind is supposed to be some of the strongest we’ve received all year. We’ll find out tomorrow if the biblical wind forecast comes true haha. The big bad wolf has his lungs full to blow our houses and waves down!

Howdy Hump Day Happy People! Surf this morning was about in the waist to chest high range, nice offshore winds, and as always that April sunshine warmed up the beach, oh and the water was super clear and nice and aqua blue too!
t’s that time for your Tuesday dose of surf… had a long day, but ended up making it down for the PM session at the reef. Winds were bonkers blowing sideways, so the waves were a bit mixed up, but there’s definitely some good swell in the water!
Welcome to the start of the week aka Monday Surf Report. We had some fun waves in the mid afternoon. Not quite as stellar as yesterday, but still super fun. I mean check out that intro shot will ya… Not too shabby eh???
