Somewhere in Nicaragua
Hey everyone! Welcome to Friday’s surf report from Colorados. The waves were small this evening and the wind was side-shore, but there was still fun to be had. In our opening frame here, you can see a surfer working on his chop-hop ollies with the high-tide backwash haha.
Sarah was out on her longboard making the most of the mellow and soft wave-faces.
She even started to work on her cutbacks on the open sections she encountered out there today. Time to work on using the surfboard’s rail.

WHAM! He had to navigate some extra spray thrown up at his face just from the sheer impact of his board contacting the lip with such force. Flying blind.
Even this boogey was generating some down the line drive despite the soft conditions this evening.
Although today was the smallest day of the past 10 days or so, there were still a few head high sets every now and again.

He showed mercy and tagged this lip in a more gentle manner. Sometimes its good to work on graceful surfing.
Travis was the lightweight of the evening session. His lighter frame and nimbleness enabled him to get vertical even on softer sections of the waves.
He even jammed his fins into the lip on the crunchy shore-break end-section.

Way to get vertical Johnny. It ain’t easy to find these sections when it’s soft and burgery at dead high-tide.
One last rivermouth right bender from the lone Boogey out there. I respect the drop-knee method. Displays greater mastery and control over his equipment than merely remaining prone.
Ok amigos, the small run of swell persisted today. We should see a little bump in the size tomorrow, but overall still fairly tame waves. If you’re a beginner or intermediate tomorrow could be one of the last days to target before a bit more juice returns to the swell.

Hey everyone! Welcome to Sunday evening’s surf report from Panga Drops / French Fries. It was very clean, but smaller than yesterday which caught me off-guard. There were still some pretty waves for the handful of surfers that were out.
Hey amigos! Welcome to Saturday evening’s surf report from French Fries and Panga Drops. The surf was surprisingly bigger today. I guess it’s the front runners of the coming swell. Kenny sending it on a head-high set.

What a DAY Wednesday! Got down there pretty early and found some pretty good Nugs for the early birds, only to be denied by one of our “Third World Problems” when I got home all excited to offload the photos and actually have an early day report, to find that we had a scheduled power..
Welcome to the Tuesday surf report. All I can say is WOW!!!! April has been absolutely nuts and today the swell jumped up a couple more feet. As if everyone here surfing hasn’t had their fill by now, it just got even better today. Go ahead and jump on in and check out todays goodies!
Hey hey hey what up everybody hope ya’ll are having an excellent start to the week like we are down here in Nica. The waves have come down to friendly size and the crowd is out in the water, and by crowd I mean a whole 15- 20 people lol light crowd.
