Tubes were very difficult to find today, but it was rippable and good for airs plus end-section slams.

This blonde guy was going wild out there. I think he caught one wave every two to three minutes while I was shooting.

A lot of dropped wallets today… You gotta be careful out there haha!

One of the very rare mid-hour set waves. This guy lucked out and was rewarded with some tunnel time. He weaved for a good distance through this barrel before it ultimately closed out.

Is this guy about to rotate through this air or score a three-pointer?

Bruno was vigilantly patrolling the lineup waiting for his time to shine in the shade. His patience was rewarded with this open runner.

Elise prepping her frontside barrel stalls for the next swell coming this weekend and next week. Looks like it could be pretty powerful!

“Bring it around town!” High speed roundhouses are some of my favorite maneuvers.

As surfers we seek stimulation, risk, and thrill. When it’s small we often engineer that excitement by going to for risky moves on tricky sections like this guy here. I hope his knees and core were ready for the air drop down.

Lesther decided to sit all the way south at the rivermouth right to avoid any crowd. He snuck into some good waves down there and busted a few airs like this one. This wraps up today’s action. Tomorrow should be very similar to today so expect to see more airs and slashes from the surfers enjoying the waves!
