I don’t think I saw any barrels today, but it was very rippable. This guy bucking some buckets out the back at his amigos.
The wind wasn’t really so bad today. The wave faces were smooth and the lips were “chippy” which made for very engaging conditions.
Kung-fu style floater! Haha
I like the quick “talk to the hand” flash from this surfer’s trailing hand.
The Speedster back at it getting vertical on his backhand. This guy put in at least two sessions today where he caught no less than one wave every three minutes.
Another speedy young fella on the loose this morning. The double deck-pad strategy paid off here.
Nice style from the goofy-foot youngster during this straight air. I like how much he has sucked his knees up as well as his relaxed yet elevated lead arm.
Flash that rooster tail broski!
Pretty wild foam climb from the speedster here. This guy is something else.
This guy was hanging so loose that his tongue came out haha!
A sharp pocket jam from the ladies’ contingency.
One last 10 point, perfect air from the speedster to close Friday’s report. I can personally testify that it was super fun out there today. Tomorrow we should see the offshore return, but it will also be a little smaller. Fingers crossed that it is similar to today!
RECENT REPORTS
Hey everyone! Welcome to Friday’s surf report from Colorados. The waves were smaller today, but bigger than I was expecting. Still a few make-able tubitos in the morning.
FROM THE ARCHIVES
Hi everyone! Josh back behind the lens with Wednesday’s surf report from Playa Colorado. The swell was still a bit so-so relative to what was forecasted, but there were fun waves out there for those who were patient.
Happy Tuesday everybody! Waves dipped a little more, at least for the beachie, so me and a few friends decided to head up the road to the reef where it was fun good size and long rights and lefts from the take off spot way out the back.
Welcome to another week of waves in Nicaragua. New swell energy has come in and with it some new surfers, but like all popular surf spots, it’s an ebb and flow of water and the people who love it’s never ending seek and exploration of sometimes new and returning reunion of some of their favorite..
