You don’t like going right? No problem. There were some wide open lefts on the sets this morning too.

Now, if you didn’t manage to catch a set wave you did have ball up tight to tuck in.

This barrel was pretty mental! Wave quality isn’t strictly about wave height. This wasn’t a proper set wave, but look at how perfect the elongated shape of the wave and lip were. Plenty of time and space to weave through.

Barrels were still somewhat scarce so most of today’s surfers took to turns.

This boogeyboarder gliding through the Super Mario Bros pipe. The vision looking out of this one would be mental! The water colors were all time this morning.

Even some of the insiders reeled and opened up.

This guy directly attacked the lip. It was contest of force, who was stronger? This time he was!

The waves were steep enough to offer up good sections for snaps, airs, and fin releases. Plenty of opportunity for training at daybreak this AM.

Speaking of airs…

Another show of brute force. This guy didn’t get height here, but he managed to burst through and off the lip.

Another huge boost to close today’s report. This guy must’ve been watching some old clips of Bruce Irons before coming out. He got the highest today haha! Tomorrow is forecasted to be pretty small, but Surfline was wrong about that today so they could be wrong again tomorrow! See ya.
