Somewhere in Nicaragua
Hi everyone! Josh back behind the lens for the next few days. Wednesday’s surf was subpar, but still better than yesterday. The wind was at least a little better today. The main issue was that the water was dirty as the rivers at both ends were flowing.
Heyner from Gigante came with some amigos via a boat. They were some of the only surfers keen enough to get out there this morning.
It definitely looked like the East Coast out there today. Especially with the brown water color.
Luckily a few rippers were doing their thing making for a higher quality report. They made the surf look much better than it was!
We get spoiled being here long-term, but the visitors are here for a brief window so it makes sense that they would capitalize on whatever conditions are at hand. The surfer here and pictured above laid down some serious slashes.
The lips weren’t safe out there! I bet these guys shredded harder than most of the surfers at many of the surrounding beaches this morning. A fair portion of the breaks would’ve been difficult to access by car as the roads were somewhat flooded from the rain.
Look out below! Haha. A mid-length would’ve been a reasonable choice for today’s conditions.
It’s pretty impressive that this guy was able to generate as much speed and drive as he did here. The waves were gutless yet he could still thrust with a large amount of torque.
Rights dominated the lineup, but there were still a couple of sneaky lefts.
This concludes today’s report from Colorados. Hopefully tomorrow is a little better conditions-wise. That being said it is forecasted to be very similar, but I’ll still bring you the best action I can capture.

Welcome back! Brian here chiming in for your Sunday surf report! It’s been a pretty grey and slightly rainy start to November, a little gloomy out there today but certainly some nice swell in the water.
