Somewhere in Nicaragua
Got up early today to check the waves – Not sure why I thought things would be different after the storm that passed through last night. Here’s what I found – more of the same.
Heres one of the set waves crashing into the reef. There was actually one guy out, but he was far away and didn’t catch any waves. It really looked bad.
Got back to San Juan Del Sur in time to find more of the same, except that all the locals were surfing.
Oh yeah, another big boat washed in last night. I know we are showing a lot of these, but this is serious stuff. All of last year, only one boat washed up. There are 3 on the beach right now!

Hey everyone! Welcome to Wednesday’s surf report from French Fries. The surf was even smaller today and the wind was still strong. That being said the faces of the waves were still fairly smooth at French Fries. It is almost always more protected from the wind there than all other spots on the beach.
Hey amigos! Welcome to Tuesday evening’s surf report from French Fries. The water temp dropped rapidly again from the strong wind earlier in the day. The surf was small, but a few heavy hitters paddled out and made the most of it.
