Hey amigos! Josh here behind the lens for the foreseeable future. Today’s report is coming from Panga Drops. The waves were pretty small again today, but just big enough for a few people to rip.

I checked the surf in the morning and there was no one out. There were a few decent waves, but definitely looked better than it was from the beach.

I came back right around noon and luckily there were a few keen surfers out. This young buck getting creative and busting a chop-hop.

Kevin paddled out for a few quick waves while I was shooting. Luckily he managed to put on a show in his quick mini-sesh.

Kev got the full rotation and landed on his feet. Unfortunately he landed just off the back of the lip, on top of the wave. Still sick though Kevin! Closer than I've ever come to an Ooper.

Kevin decided to mix it up and chuck an air-reverse too. For the viewer, air-reverse means rotating toward the beach and alley-oop means rotating toward the sea.

He got one last killer right to finish his screen-time on the report. He surfs this black Rocas board really well.

Further down the line he set up for a strong second turn. The key difference is that he had more speed coming into this section and you can tell that he intends to leave his trailing hand back on this turn.

Power carve! Kinda combined with a layback too. Kevin rode out of this. When you have speed like he had, and drop your trailing hand while keeping pressure on your inside rail and back foot, then you throw some big spray.

The waves were so-so today. Definitely better than yesterday, but still lacking in the power department. Tomorrow should be slightly larger. Let's see what tomorrow brings!

Hey amigos! Welcome to Monday’s surf report from French Fries. The waves were pretty much firing when I rocked up to take pictures, but just like yesterday the wind went side-shore as soon as I put the camera away. At least some surfers caught the magic window.

It was such a beautiful day today and it was a lot of fun to take these pictures cause there were some great surfers out there one day i will be one of those great surfers out there and someone will be taking pictures of me for the surf report or I hope anyway.
