Today was all about picking up the necessary speed for a final move as the waves closed out. Here is one local grom in mid-pump.
The waves picked up a bit in size as the tide got higher, providing enough juice for the young guys to boost a few airs.
The real excitement today happened when a local fisherman snagged this Rooster fish from his handline. He was in knee deep water close to the surf and needed help from a friend and his lobster hook to be sure the big Gallo didn’t get away. We are looking forward to a forecasted bump in swell in the next few days. Stay posted.
RECENT REPORTS
Hey amigos! Welcome to Saturday evening’s surf report from French Fries. Today was very small. The smallest day of waves I’ve seen in weeks. It’s the smallest day we’ll probably see for a good two weeks. If Surfline is right then the Easter bunny is bringing swell.
