Somewhere in Nicaragua
Ok folks, Pancho here with the surf report for Sunday. We’ve got some good swell in the water, but the wind is still onshore. There are definitely places to surf if you go look for it, but we opted to sit today out. Instead of posting a surf report today, I wanted to call some attention to the completion NSR’s first “official” community service project. We recently completed the construction of a new home for a family in Limon, Tola – which had been destroyed in a fire.
We’d like to thank all the people who generously donated to the cause (total project cost was approx. $500) AND the people who donated two HOT days of manual labor to make this whole thing possible. Hey amigos! Welcome to Tuesday evening’s surf report from Panga Drops. The swell came up some today, but the wind was vicious and ripping all day until sunset. Kai found some of the better waves this evening.
Hey everyone! Welcome to Monday evening’s surf report from the sandbar peaks around Panga Drops. French Fries had a few waves, as pictured here, but most of the action was at the southern sandbar.
Hey everyone! Welcome to Sunday evening’s surf report from Panga Drops. A new peaked showed up closer to Costa Mar and was the main attraction. The wind cleaned up and there was a tiny bit more size than yesterday.

This is Roberto with the surf report and spanish class for today. I woke up this morning and decided to explore around, we’ve got overhead sets wave sometime double. Check it out.
The winds backed off some today, but they are still onshore. We have good swell in the water too, solid and consistent head high sets at Maderas. It was very surfable and fun, but we are definitely missing our offshores.
