Somewhere in Nicaragua
Back in town, today we headed out to Maderas this morning. It’s chest to head high on sets and the wind was offshore. Today tons of people made it out making it thought to paddle out. Check it out.
All the locals were shredding and ripping it up today. Here is “El Mope” Miranda commanding the lineup starting with the first spray of the day.
“La Gaviota” Chamorro was shredding too, here he goes with a nice spray. We could have some killer shots today but the sun didn’t come up early so we didn’t have good light for photos.
How about Marlon “El Shaggy” Aburto getting back to the action and charging. Everybody thought that you were out buddy but it’s good to know that they were wrong. Welcome back to the showtime!!!
Here comes the king of the barrels at Maderas. We are talking about “El Tuzo” Morales, he always get barrel and we don’t even know how he does it.
This Jessica “La Capitana” from Texas taking off on the biggest set of the day on the big panga. Where is “La Panga” when we need him?
“La Baloy” Chamorro was able to paddle out today and have fun on a couple waves. There he is practicing hard for the upcoming Central American Surf Contest in Panama.

Hey everyone! Welcome to Friday’s mid-day report from Colorados. The waves were clean and fairly consistent. It definitely pulsed at various moments throughout the day. Nothing huge though.
Hey amigos. Welcome to Thursday’s late morning report from Colorados. It was clean this AM, but notably smaller. The sets still had enough size to offer up tubitos.
Hey amigos! Josh back behind the lens for the next few days. Wednesday was a let down compared to what was forecasted. It was not 4ft @ 16 sec as projected by Surf-lie haha. The sets were good when they came, but there was one quality set every 20 minutes roughly. It was a waiting..

We showed up to the beach today with this greeting shot. There was no real change in size, though a few came in like this one that made it worth a go out. We’ll call it solid knee to waist high with nice shape for the panga.
All is calm in San Juan Del Sur today. The swell from the last couple of days has completely died and now it’s flat like a lake. Here’s a shot of the bay.
