Somewhere in Nicaragua
We’ve got Lucha Libre with the surf report for today from out here at Maderas. It’s waist to chest high on sets, the wind is offshore and we have many people in the water trying to score a few good ones. Check out the lineup.
Today Pancho Sanchez got back to the action with a couple of good friends. There he is taking one of the best left of the day.
Rodolfo “El Tablon” Zapata was on fire today. Here he is with a vertical move on a nice set wave.
This is Todd “El Patotas” going left on first wave down here in Nicaragua. He’s one of Panchos’ friend who just arrived from San Augustin.
This is Robb “Borracho Berth” working on a nice right. These two brothers are starting a trip around the world for a year. They decided to visit Nicaragua because we have great waves. Next stop “Hawaii”.
It looks like we are going to have sweet fishing around town this week because we have a lots of baits today in the water. Check them out on this wave.

Hey amigos! Welcome to Thursday’s late morning report from French Fries. The sun was shining and the shape of the waves was better today. The wind was also lighter! (Thankfully)
Hey everyone! Welcome to Wednesday’s surf report from French Fries. The surf was even smaller today and the wind was still strong. That being said the faces of the waves were still fairly smooth at French Fries. It is almost always more protected from the wind there than all other spots on the beach.
Hey amigos! Welcome to Tuesday evening’s surf report from French Fries. The water temp dropped rapidly again from the strong wind earlier in the day. The surf was small, but a few heavy hitters paddled out and made the most of it.
