Calibilly “El Tablon” Zapata was able to paddle out today and catch a couple of choppy ones. Here he is caught riding one of the cleaner ones that came through today.
A couple of unknown Californian riders made it out today and were feeling like in home surfing with these kind of conditions. Here we have one of Tom Eberly’s clients trying to do some stuff in this mushy one.
Some of the girls from Hawaii were taking advantage at the lineup today and were enjoying a lot out there. This is Carmen with a pretty cool round house.
The lineup was a little bit crowded this morning because everybody wanted to score some waves before the wind completely blows on. There were not many waves to be had today, so you really need to be aggressive and make some respect in the water. Here is Sr Rex “La Bestia” Calderon showing one of his closer admirers how to rip on these kinds of waves.
On the last surfing shot of the day we have Lester “El Coyotito” Solis going off the top on this wave. The waves are supposed to be bigger tomorrow but the wind will be the same “ON SHORE”.
RECENT REPORTS
Hey amigos! Welcome to Tuesday evening’s surf report from Colorados. The swell was bigger and stronger today, but it was very slow between the sets. I think the lack of a secondary swell combined with the sandbars not being in perfect shape made for long waits.
