Somewhere in Nicaragua
Hi everybody and welcome to the Tuesday surf report. Today we headed out to the beach in the morning at low tide because we were expecting to get onshore winds, but luckily we didn’t. The waves were small but there were still something to ride and have fun. It was running about knee to waist high on sets, the water was clear and warm and the lineup was really mellow. Check it out!!!
Part of the NSR family was able to paddle out today and ride a few small but nice looking waves. Here is our very own Pancho Sanchez with a cool backside turn on this right.
“El Guineo” Mateo was trying to do some stuff on the small waves as well. It looks like he is very familiar with the small things, we don’t know why. Anyway, here we caught him throwing the lip off the back.
His uncle wasn’t lucky enough to make it into the finals in the last contest at Playa Astillero. So now he is going through some rituals that he learned when he was traveling around. We don’t know what the meaning of that makeup is. Undala, undala, undala!!!
On the last shot of the day we have “El Cacaste” Florez setting up with a nice bottom turn on this small but sweet left. Hey amigos! Welcome to Tuesday’s surf report from Panga Drops. This lady either ended up a bit later than anticipated or misunderstood what it means to get barreled haha! I’ve got to give her credit for looking at this wave though. You don’t know if you don’t go (or at least look at going).

Another rainy day in Nicaragua, today we didn’t go out to Maderas. It’s chest high on sets out here at the Bay and the wind is still onshore, we guessed Maderas is head high on sets and also onshore wind.
We’ve got fun little waves out here at Maderas today. It’s about chest high on sets, the water is warm and the wind is offshore. We’ve got a macking swell coming later next week so now is the time to ride the shortboards. After around Wednesday or so we should have well overhead waves for..
