The waves we firing! Santana had her game face on today! It was head high and offshore winds, perfect of the wedge to go off! Up at the judgeās stage we were just cringing and oooing and ahhing at un-ridden wedges peeling through!

Another surfer that was just destroying it was Rex āLa Bestiaā. He always surfs so fast!Ā Check out this turn! Soooo sick dude!

Here is an unknown solider making it look easy pulling into the wedge at first peak and getting DRAINED!

Here is Larry from San Juan del Sur blowing the top off this wave at first peak! Super rippable wave!

āCapolloā is a young kid from Astillero and after his great showing last contest at home he showed up ready! In his round two open heat he got spit out of at least five barrels!

Here is Junior, Marioās brother showing some brotherly love in the same heat! Dude Iām happy I wasnāt in that heat! Great air, and you landed it clean!?! Dale Peus!

I knew Brody from Safari Charters was a good surfer, but today he blew everyone away! He was surfing Santana better than almost everyone out there! Definitely look for him in the finals!

Today was a great day and everyone had a great time! Even the people who werenāt surfing! Check out this kid showboating for the crowd! Haha See you tomorrow with the full results and the wrap up from the contest!Ohh P.S. I made it through the first round only to be decimated in the second round! Haha maybe next time!

Roberto was taking pictures while I was slaving away at the contest! Here is Patrick, who hired āLucha Libreā for the day bottom turning on a fun left!

Here is Dale Rhodes another one of the OāQuinn Crew with a sick frontside barrel shot. Great job Lucha! All in a days work for the best Nicaraguan photographer!
