When we first got to this spot there were only 3 surfers out taking advantage in the lineup. This is Kevin from New Jersey setting up to get into this sick left.
We had some killer sets coming through this morning. Here we have one of the local surfers that live in the surrounding area. You think this guy is stoked to be on this wave!!! That thing is FIRING!

Shot 4, bottom turning with a killer style!
Shot 6, he made it around and got under the lip, uh!
Shot 8, keep going dude!
Shot 10, still going!
Shot 11, looking for the door!
Aaaaaaah, surfing with your friends in Paradise…Norwin “El Chulin” Estrella was so stoked because we invited him to make this trip with us. He also was able to score some long barrels today. Here he is enjoying the view.
This is Miguel riding a nice looking left. Check you out man, you made it on NSR today. Now you can share this one with all your friends and make them feel jealous.
Oliver “El Monito” Solis is one of the best local surfers in Nicaragua and always gets sick waves. Today he scored some insane barrels. Look forward to check this cool sequence.
Shot 3, hand dragging to slow down a little bit!
Shot 5, enjoying the view!
Shot 6, stand up barrel, uh!
Shot 9, this wave open up well!
Shot 10, what a perfect wave!
Shot 12, clean and safe! All I can say is WOW! That one was awesome!
On the way back home we stopped by the doctor to check Oliver’s arm. Here’s a shot of the doctor “popping it back in”. That’s gotta be painful, don’t you think so? We made it back into town and ask him how the waves were after he had to pay some taxes. He said “IT WAS SUPER FUN”.
On this last shot we have Brodie, setting it up to lay it down. Today was insane and the swell is supposed to pick up a little bit tomorrow so it could be even better!!! You can bet I’ll be all over it so be sure to check us back out for the pics. …and remember – hit us up if you can swing an October trip down here. You might just score some waves like this all to yourself!!! Lucha out!
