There were a few international guys when we first got to the beach and they were very friendly. This is Nick from Cal looking down the line of this small but fun looking right.
The lineup was not busy at all, there were only about 6 or 7 guys out taking many waves. Check out these two waves rolling all the way in with no takers.
Here we have this unknown guy in the background trying to pull into that little barrel section. It was actually pretty fun to go out this morning because we scored many good waves.
A few local surfers took a ride with us to the beach and were able to paddle out to catch some waves. This is Pedro “El Cacaste” Flores about to bust a nice front side air.
“El Tuzo” Morales picked up some of the better set waves of the day. Here he is taking off on a really nice one. Keep working on it buddy!!!
Chulin took the big panga out and was killing it. He probably took around 50 waves today, doing all kind of stuff all over the place. Even trying to pull into some backside barrel sections!
RECENT REPORTS
Hey everyone! Welcome to Saturday morning’s surf report from Panga Drops. The waves were very small today, but the morning window was favorable with the tide. Good for cruisin’!
FROM THE ARCHIVES
Lucha and Jairo will be back later with today’s surf report. In the meantime, we wanted to put up this shot that was sent in by our good friend Matt H., a real life king crab fisherman up in Alaska (Anybody seen “Deadliest Catch”?). Matt came down to Nicaragua and spent some time with NSR..
