Today we are going to start our daily surf report with our very good friend Jeff from Costa Rica, he was catching a lot of waves. Check him out with a cool cross step on this one.
The lineup was not busy at all, we only had about 9 to 12 surfers including a few locals. Here we have Augusto “La Gaviota” Chamorro ripping on the top of this fun right hander.
Roberto “Lucha Libre” decided to take the water camera out and was trying to catch some water shots. Here we have this girl, one of the many girls that we had in the lineup. Look at her paddling out very strong to catch this one.
As we said before we had a pretty nice day for big boards and here we have this shot to prove it. This is Christopher from New York riding on this nice right hander.
We had a few local surfers taking advantage in the lineup. Here we have Felipe “El Pipe” Chompipe bottom turning this nice sized left with cool style. He’s been improving his surfing level very quickly.
On this shot we have Luis “La Baloy” Chamorro about to snap this nice looking right. This one from land!
And this one from the water. It came out very well, uh!!!
“La Bestia” Calderon was practicing all kinds of maneuver today, because he is living to Costa Rica (Santa Tereza) tomorrow with “El Corage” to participate in a National Surf Contest. They’ve been participating in a few contests during this year and they’ve got some good knowledge from them.
On the last shot of the day we have Paul “El Toston” from Ireland dropping in into a nice left. The waves should be fun tomorrow as well so make sure to check us back out!
RECENT REPORTS
Hey everyone! Welcome to Tuesday’s surf report from Panga Drops. The waves were really fun this morning. This week should be the best we’ve had in some time.
FROM THE ARCHIVES
What’s up folks? This is Roberto “Lucha Libre” Garcia reporting from up to Tola at one of the better spots we have around this beautiful area. Today I went back to the NSR Beach House to take some killer photos of our new friends from LA. The waves were running about chest to shoulder high..
