The waves had some size to them running around shoulder to head high, but the form was horrible. We had a pretty hard rain last night and the rivers broke through causing some less than stellar conditions.
There was only two guys in the water. They were both bummed they got in. This guy had a decent turn… so we give him Chewy’s wave of the day award.
His buddy was not so lucky. He took this set on the head
and came out with a broken board
Good thing his buddy found the other half! Super glue it! It’s almost like it didn’t happen!
After staring at these big closeout sets coming through, I decided not to paddle out.
I will be in the water though… They don’t have a pool here for nothing! Check back tomorrow. Hopefully the wind will back off a little and we will have some uncrowded surf.
