The rivers brought everything that wasn’t nailed down to the beach. But the sun came out and stayed out all day. Everybody was drying out from days of rain.

El Juez paddled out alone into pangas for a morning session. He pickep one of the clearner waves and was able to do a couple maneuvers on it. Check him out about to throw the lip off the back!

But everything wasn’t that clean and there were more close outs than not. So, Sitos, Eduardo, Cebolla, Juan Lago and Big Duke this is not quite what you are used to here. Rick was a little worried on this one, you can see why!!!

The offshore winds cleaned it up for a while and there were a few ones that made us a little excited. Like this empty barrel.

There were definitely a few clean ones coming in but they were really hard to find them. Here we caught this lucky little kid picking up one of the better ones.

So rumor had it that Gigante was breaking so we drove over for a look. The roads still had lots of water flowing from the rains.

Gigante it is always a great town to see but the surf wasn’t happening so back to our place at PC.

El Presidente found some rights over near the river mouth. Here he is going down the line of one of the cleanest rights he had. Good job my friend, now it is time for a TONA and TRANQUILO!

Beez paddled out in the morning but didn’t want to this afternoon so he made the beach better than he found it. Our fingers are crossed because tomorrow the conditions are supposed to be better, so make sure to check us back out.

From time to time, NSR accumulates extra surfboards, either our own or donated from generous travelers. We always keep our eyes out for deserving youngsters who can benefit from these kinds of things. As such, NSR is stoked to announce a surfboard give-away in SJDS, specifically “Playa Remanso”. In this shot we have Pancho stoking out two of our future rippers – brothers Manuel and Orlando, who now have a surfboard to share. These kids live close to Playa Remanso, come from good families and attend school. When they were able to borrow a board, they would spend their free time at the beach. Now they have their own board to share and I’m sure we’ll be seeing more of them in the future.
RECENT REPORTS

Hey amigos! Welcome to Thursday’s surf report from Playa Colorado. The size did drop some overnight, but there were still make-able barrels on the sets.

Welcome to the Monday surf report. This is Jairo “Come Pan “ Panic and Mateo “Pledge” bringing you the report. The swell is still good, but the waves at the beach were not what we expected. It was only running about head high on sets with offshore wind. It could have been the tide and/or the..
