Somewhere in Nicaragua
We had a big day today, lot of action going on in San Juan del and surround area. There was a huge cultural party in town since 8:00 am where more than 300 students met to celebrate the 50 anniversary of one of the oldest school in town. A little bit of live music was on!
Kids dancing El Sompopo, native dance from Ometepe Island. Little kids from kinder garden doing their thing.
La Bestia Calderon was the only local ripping out there when I got there. Here he is going big with his signature move.
Lots of beginners were out, trying to catch some waves on their own. Here we caught these two charging on this nice sized set.
Right before dark part of the NSR family made it out to score some waves with the birthday man Carlitos Calientes. Hot Carl, Quesitos and Mariel enjoying the beautiful evening we had.

What’s up party people? We’ve got Lucha Libre here with the Friday surf report from somewhere on the pacific coast of Nicaragua. The waves were super fun this morning and the crowd was super light. I had to jump in El Burro at 4:30 am to get to this spot and it was worth it. ..

Hi folks, we’ve got Jairo Come Pan Panic Ramos with the Wednesday surf report from Playa Maderas. The waves were super fun today but the lineup was pretty crowded. It was running about chest to shoulder high on sets with offshore winds all day long and the water was chilly. Check it out.
