
There’s a brigade of 100+ doctors down from the US right now providing volunteer medical care to the surrounding communities. Here are a couple early risers heading off to work. Right on guys, your efforts are appreciated.

We took advantage of surf “down” day to make our way out to the Capital city, Managua, to run some errands and relocate in anticipation of waves we think might be on the way in the next day or two. This prototypical Central American image just never gets old.

Harvest is now in NIcaragua, fresh fruit and veggies aplenty. More roadside sights on the way to Managua.

Finally to our destination lovely Managua greets us with the splendor of Carretera Masaya and the all the traffic and billboards that decorate her. “We got a big Manags day, you know. We’ll be hittin SINSA, then swing by MetroCentro before stopping in at La Colonia and finally hit PriceSmart on the way outa town. Oh wait and big ups to Ratatouille Bistro for the bomb lunch! Hey everyone! Welcome to Friday’s surf report from Colorados. It was another small, but fun day of waves. Looks like the last mellow day for a good eight to nine days. Finley managed to find a couple of tubitos.

Today we went to check out one of our favorite spots down south, hoping to score some sweet waves and we did. The waves were running about chest to head high on sets, with nice offshore winds and the water was cold. Check out the lineup!!!
