Somewhere in Nicaragua
Hey everyone, Brian here again, bringing you the action from the beach here in sunny Nicaragua. Swell dropped a little bit today, still some fun waves coming in around waist to chest high and steady offshore winds. I’m sure none of you would complain, even when it’s small here you can still have more fun than most days at your home break! Take a look…
Most of the time when the waves are small it tends to get a little crowded here on the beach, so you have to do a little paddling and sometimes sitting just to the side of the crowd and the right wave will come to you. This guy had the right idea and it paid off, he’s probably laughing all the way down the line on this one while the lineup is watching him…..soooo nice!
This is Brett, from North Carolina, him and his buddies just got in last night and are super stoked to be here surfing instead of waiting for Tropical Storm Isaac to hit the states. Nice one Brett!
There were a few barrels coming in out there, unknown surfer here pulling into the “Nicaraguan green room”. If only I could trade places with him, I bet he has a better view than me.
Speaking of “point of views”, this guy was surfing up and down the beach doing some crazy airs with his GoPro cam in hand. I think he just took a picture of me. Hope it was my good side.
Chucky , from the “305” a.k.a. Miami, for those who don’t know, is stoked to even be riding something bigger than a ripple. Miami looks like it might get more than a ripple as well with Isaac heading it’s way. Might have to delay your flight Chucky.
Another sweet mini-right. Big John Martin was out there putting his best pig dog skills to use on this one. I can do that…I think.
Want to give a shout out today to a friend of ours who comes down often, Donnell here doing a nice backside floater. Happy Birthday Donnell ! Nothing better than surfing on your birthday!

Today the winds finally got back to normally (Just for the Morning) but we had time enough to score some sick waves. As I said yesterday a few barrels were caught and they were still many more barreling waves rolling in all the way in with no takers. It was overhead on sets with nice..
