NSR put up some efforts together and drove down a couple of locals from Playa Colorado. So stoked to get down the coast and surf some fun waves.
A few guys from Playa Santana made the trip as well and they were shredding. Yubert with a cool snap on this closed out section!
Local surfers from way up north came down too. This is Issac from La Bomba, Chinandega with a sick maneuver.
Mr Pearson was part of the show and he did pretty good. Sick angle on this one Codo!

The right down the beach, in front of the river mouth was so open that even a bus can get barreled. Wide open, isn’t it?
Almost forgot, yesterday we had the first rain of the year and we all loved it. Maybe that changed the sandbars already!
A few friends from Fl came down for a bachelor party, and there is not a better way to celebrate than gettin’ many fun ones. Tommy Lee Jhones working on his backhand.
Richard is part of the crew as well and he is so stoked to be down here. Nabbing a nice left hander!
Mr Yabe was ripping all over the place. And he was flying like a BIRD!
Mr Kerson is enjoying his last two days in Nicaragua. Ready to go home Jota? No lo creo!!!
Lots of sick waves up and down the beach. What a sick jewel, uh!
This chick was shredding up all day long. Check her out with a cool little floater!

FROM THE ARCHIVES
Hey guys it’s me, Lucha Libre here with a quick update for our Friday surf report. Juancito took care of the camera this morning and he did pretty well. Head high plus on the bigger sets, nice offshore winds and warm water. What else can we ask for? Check out the lineup!
What’s up What’s up! This is Eric with another daily surf report here at NSR. The waves were fun this a/m. Coming in around chest to head high. The winds were calm early making for some super clean conditions.
Wow, before we get to today’s waves, we have to throw this shot up. This is from our good friend Allen in SJDS who went spearfishing last Sunday when the wind was onshore. Check out this MONSTER! Evidently the guy in the middle, Alexi, is a professional Russian Spearfisher and he took out Allan, Carlos..
