El Codo Lopez grabbed the camera for a little while today but unluckily he made it to the beach a little late. The winds were blowing from the sides and the conditions were not the best. Even though there were a few fun ones rolling in. Check it out!!!
The big national event is starting tomorrow at 7 am over Playa Jiqueliste (Santana). Come over and check it out. You will have plenty of fun while you watch all the action.
Back in the action, we had a few guys out doing their best to rip some sections. Burning some speed out of this sick round house!
We had a guy in the water, trying to get some water shots. Maybe he got a good out of this move!
One section later on the same wave, this pal crushed it. Way to go amigo!
We only had 3 guys in the lineup when El Codo Lopez made it to the beach. Hard to believe but it is true!
Unknown shredder, shredding up a milk shake. The waves were not barreling, but they were super fun and playful.

Hey amigos! Welcome to Thursday’s surf report from Colorados. I saw the waves turn on and off about 7 separate times today. The conditions were in constant flux. It just so happened to be that the best window of the day was when I took pictures around 1:00pm.

Hey amigos! Welcome to Tuesday evening’s surf report from Colorados. The swell was bigger and stronger today, but it was very slow between the sets. I think the lack of a secondary swell combined with the sandbars not being in perfect shape made for long waits.
