Que tal primos?! This is Parker uploading today’s surf report for NSR. We went up north so check out the action!
Judging by sunset yesterday and the forecasts, I thought the swell would start easing off by the mid morning morning and early afternoon. Looks like I was (happily) wrong!
Meet Juan, he’s a goofy foot ripper. You will see him pulling into slabs, throwing buckets, and killing it in the style department.
We like this wave because of it’s long rippable faces. You will burn your legs surfing the wave and crush your shoulders on the way back out!
When the conditions align, you will find a hollow tube. What more can you ask for? A tube section, a rippable face, and then more sets coming in afterwards?
If the crowds get to you, move north. Surgeon’s warning: before you drop in, make sure you are confident and have comprehensive health insurance.
If your lady doesn’t charge, still bring her! There are tons of hammocks and comfy chairs to get a tan and enjoy the view.
A great friend of mine and recent @surfnsr instagram star, Peter Kerson, preaches about the importance of a strong bottom turn. Let’s see how this unknown surfer test Peter’s advice…
Bam! For a 120 pound kid, that’s a good turn! This is the spot to practice your mechanics.
We know this is a sick a frame peak and the dudes are getting shacked, but look at the white wash in front of the wave. Before paddling out, find a spot on the hill to watch the waves and look for the reef’s shape.
At the peak, the waves were overhead and then faded to about shoulder high towards the beach. Juan’s spray clocked in around overhead too.
There’s shade everywhere at this break. Some shady spots have a hammock and fresh breakfast while other spots have the best view…

Hello my friends. One or two days after a swell, always the waves have something special. The wind is super strong, maybe the stronger day this year, but the waves were kinda the best during this year. Check it out.
Hola amigos, the swell kept dropping today but there were still some nice ones rolling in. Head high waves on the bigger sets, winds were nice offshore and the water was nice. Check it out!!!
