We woke up and saw the new SW swell filled in! The conditions weren’t epic but I still found pretty blue lines at a mid tide.

In the mananita, the winds were slightly offshore. After a late breakfast, the winds turned onshore. Until the current system in the Gulf, we might have variable winds for two more days.

That means three things… First, surf early. Second, enjoy the clear water. And third, get ready to catch some fish!!

An unknown rider was working up his breakfast appetite off the northern peak. It wasn’t as hollow but still plenty of fun!

After a quick breakfast, I checked the northern reef after the tide dropped a little more. The lines of swell were wrapping in well.

This wave is like a gym. It’s a leg burner all the way to the beach then a shoulder crusher to dodge sets and get back out. You’ll earn your gallo pinto here.

When swells fill in, the wave opens up in sections. When it gets big, it fully barrels.
