Conditions for the morning were super fun: chest to shoulder high waves, light offshore, and an empty line up. No complaints by our offseason standards!
At mid tide, some fun lines were rolling through. With this direction, a few rights crept through.
We’re stoked to have Eric back on the NSR team! He spent three seasons with us starting in 2010 and is back down to start round 4. Welcome back down bro and we’re excited to have you uploading reports for us and being apart of our family!!
As a side note, it’s nice to change it up and get on the other side of the lens… Thanks for shooting photos today Eric and let’s see who can upload the better reports!!!!!
The line up was emm-tee today! It was just this friendly longboarder, Marc, and me enjoying the waves. Maybe Mag Rock consumed a few amigos last night???
Hey uhhh Marc, do you ever… hang around a gymnasium?!?!
In the mananita, it was completely glassy. By breakfast time/late morning, the offshores picked up. They blew consistently for a couple hours but it has calmed for the afternoon to sunset session.
As for size, the swell is on its way out so there were leftovers. Still, chest to shoulder high isn’t horrible for our offseason, right?
I’m 6’5” so I’m probably not going to get barrelled. But lining up to practice a layback and bust your fins out is a likely option. Give me two more months to perfect it…
Ok camas and caballeros, Eric and I are finishing up for the day and going to start thinking about the afternoon session. Thank you all for checking out our shots and stay tuned for tomorrow. Hasta luego amigos!!
RECENT REPORTS
Hey everyone! Welcome to Wednesday’s surf report from Pangas, specifically French Fries right. The wind was ripping pretty hard around mid-day, but it mellowed out slightly in the evening and the direction improved some. It was golden hour!
Hey amigos! Welcome to Tuesday’s surf report from Panga Drops. This lady either ended up a bit later than anticipated or misunderstood what it means to get barreled haha! I’ve got to give her credit for looking at this wave though. You don’t know if you don’t go (or at least look at going).
FROM THE ARCHIVES
Hello party people. We start another weekend with some waves. The offshore wind is amazing with blue water and warm. Is a sunny day here in Nicaragua. The high tide was early, so we check the low tide. This is the action of today.
