Lot’s of choices for this spot today. You could go left or right, catch lots of small waves on the inside, or sit out deep and wait for the bigger sets!
The lineup saw a nice group of locals from the Santana surf team this morning. A couple boats pulled up while I was on the beach, but the scene didn’t get too hectic and looked like lots of fun!
I think the boys were running a practice heat because they all had on a different colour; or maybe they were just surfing in style!
Lenin found himself on a whole bunch of nice waves today. Here he is setting up for a turn on a decent sized right.
Leaning back and putting all his speed on that rail! He’s got a nice cutback and ripped about three in a row, all the way to the beach on this one.
When this boat pulled up, the surfers went out very respectfully… Just one or two surfers at a time, and they waited awhile in between guys paddling out! Nice to see it done right and not everyone rushing the peak at once!
This hombre was waiting out deep and found one of the bigger waves of the morning! With a hat to protect from the suns powerful rays he was able to relax and be patient out the back!
It is easy to tell which way the wind was blowing this morning! We had a couple afternoons of onshore winds the last two days but everything seems to be back to normal today!
We have a little swell filling in for tomorrow and Thursday… Some signs of it’s arrival were showing this morning as the tide filled in! Get ready for some good waves everyone!
Heading home from the beach, I took a look at this spot to see what was happening. The waves were still small, I found a great place to relax and wait for the swell though!
Another beautiful day is upon us here in Central America. We hope you all come visit us soon and share the fun times! Have a great Tuesday everybody! Be sure and check back to the number one surf report in Nicaragua! Eric is out!
