There’s a small, very dedicated crew who like to get out there super early. Too early for me since it’s still almost dark when they like to get on it. But at least I got to see a few of my buddy Derek’s waves before he was already finished for the day. Glad I got there in time to see this drainer! Hey D, hows the GoPro clip of that wave??

The lighting (when we don’t have too many clouds) is always so good looking into the rights in the mornings. That, and it helps when we have some good swell too.

There were some pretty nice lefts coming in as well. I must say the lighting was good all around today.

Tim is a classic guy. Always out there charging AND will be on the hunt for the biggest set wave every time he paddles out. This is a pretty mediocre wave for him, but if you zoomed in on his face on the sequence, you can see he’s perpetually stoked on any size waves!

Mr. Cortez has been on fire ever since he’s come back from surfing the ISA’s over in France. Just when I think he’s kinda peaking on his performance and style, he blows up each new session every day out here with more style and pizazz than before. Killing it hermano!

Ya, definitely a bit smaller, but still some fun little fast running barrels out there.

Lots of stuff flying around in this photo, which is why I particularly liked it. Busy fishermen in the background and busy surfer in the foreground. Both of which are doing things they enjoy on a nice Sunday here in Nica.

Curtain call anyone? No, this is isn’t the end of the show, but I did see many of these today.

This was actually Joel’s last session curtain call. Man, this week flew by amigo! Always good to see ya down here tho… until next time mi hermano.

So glad to have our offshore back!!

Sundays seem to be a pretty popular time for people to head back home it seems. Here my good friend Abe is heading out too since it’s his last day. But he wasn’t gonna go quietly. BBO CEO with a bit fat Exclamation p!ont on that sick right! C ya back here soon Abe!

Kevin flaring some more.. what did they feed you over in France?

There’s enough going on in this shot that can keep you looking at it for a while, I think. Nice wave, for sure! Would make for a nice screen saver.

Coming or going, as in surfed or about to surf? That could be the question here. But arriving or leaving is the Sunday puzzle for the day.

Speaking of coming… has Nicaragua been one of your “dream places to visit”? Well now’s your opportunity. Support literacy and education, and you could win a trip to Nicaragua – including airfare! Don’t miss out on the chance to win a trip of a lifetime in beautiful Nicaragua. Click here to buy ticketswww.creanicaragua.org/raffle/Drawing is July 21st so get your tickets soon!

Win that trip and you could be surfing here. What’s $20 bucks, right? Or go big and Roll them dice with 6 tickets while also helping to support for a good cause.

Ok, so now I can officially say curtain call for this lucky fellow’s shot. Not a bad wave to end the day/report.

Thanks for spending another weekend and hanging with me, it’s been fun!! Sadly, it’s time to say adios for now.. but as always, check back in mañana for some different location persuasion from my buddy Baldo. Enjoy the rest of your weekend amigos!!!
