Turns out, it’s get weird and creative day with SBS. The lighting was a little off, but turned out to be super sick. The waves were not friendly by any means, and there were plenty of people still out frothing despite the mixed up conditions.
Amigo de bottom turn on an onshore crumbler. I’m telling you, the folks who were out, were definitely making the best of these waves!
I really love getting all up close and personal with my surfing friends every time I’m out shooting water. Which is exactly why I always wear my Gath Helmet.
Getin’ layback steezy-like on an inside bowley section.
Nothing better than a behind the wave slash-back. Throwing buckets right onto my cabeza.
Like I said, the people were killing it in the frothing department this afternoon. No onshore’s were gonna let that slow them down.
This little ripper had the right idea and grabbed himself a soft top. It’s a jungle out there little amigo. Get out out there and show em what you’ve got!
This dude was smashing these wind swept waves to pieces.
Stoked we linked up on a few like this.
Part beard admirer and part fellow ocean dweller amigo. I sympothise with the emotion in this photo completely.
This kid was flying all over the place, but out of the 40+ fotos I wanted to use for todays report, this one might be one of my favs. Such a cool angle and the lighting was mental!
I think this one might be a close second. This is how you show the ocean, you really don’t care if it’s offshore or onshore, you’re still gonna do your thing.
I stayed pretty sandy on the inside picking off a lot of these shots for todays report. Needless to say, the payoff was all worth it!
I’m still finding sand in weird and unusual oraphisis this evening.
India was out there getting some super fun ones down at the far bar this late afternoon. Nice to see some chica representation at the frankfurter party tonight.
The question of the afternoon sill remains.. would you surf this? Looks pretty fun to me!
Droplets from the rain, or a good little slash? All I know is we’re all addicted to water in every form, some way or another.
Megan and Eliana, doing what we regulars might do on a day like today. Nothing like galloping down the beach at sunset time sharing a good laugh and feeling the wind in your face.
Not much for a sunset today, BUT… it’s still quite the view! Thank heavens we live in such an amazing place! For now, we’ll sleep and dream and wait to see what we wake to tomorrow. Buenas Noches mis amigos ~
