On some waves the peak was wide so you could only take off on the shoulders

There were only 6 surfers in the water which meant that a lot of the waves went unridden.

With the high tides the estuary has been getting filled with water, attracting a great variety of birds looking to eat and swim on it.

This guy was the best surfer out there, throwing little sprays of water here and there, getting ready for the swell that comes in tomorrow.

Another guy that was warming up for probably the last big swell of the season. I bet he is imagining he is inside a big cave of water right there.

The fishermen went fishing early this morning and now they are putting the boat to save before the big waves arrive tomorrow.

One lonely fisherman trying to get some lunch off the rocks… in the next few days it will probably be dangerous to be standing right where he is now.

Safety first… remember always that we are in the tropics, the sun is really hot and if you don’t apply enough sun screen you won’t be able to surf as much as you were planning to do it.Is that the Outer Reef on the back??

If the forecast is right, the Outer Reef might work in the next couple of days, maybe not as epic as everyone wants it but enough to catch some “little” ones.

In the mean time we can just practice and streach the muscles to (hoepfully) be ready for bigger waves.

Stay tune, tomorrow is going to be fun! Hasta mañana!
RECENT REPORTS

Hey everyone! Welcome to Friday’s surf report from Colorados. It was another small, but fun day of waves. Looks like the last mellow day for a good eight to nine days. Finley managed to find a couple of tubitos.
