Somewhere in Nicaragua
Howdy everyone! Welcome back for the Saturday “Pre-New Years” Party Surf Report! We have lots of people in town and some fun small medium(ish) waves and everyone’s down at the beach getting ready for the BIG Party tomorrow.
Waves were rolling in all morning with some really fun shape. Like this empty one that managed to sneak through without any takers.
Marcos had the right idea and grabbed his Fun-board for todays session. The perfect board for todays super fun waist to chest high waves.
My little (well not so little anymore) buddy Maycol just celebrated his 16th birthday this month. He’s even starting to rock a little mini mustache (I has heckling him for) too! Turning into a fine young man Hermano!
Señor Snider was out there on the log and was catching some of the best waves of the day. His experience in years of surfing shines when he comes out to play!
Aga, also a fan of the logs, was having one of the best sessions I think I’ve ever seen her have out here. She was nabbing waves all over the place, left…
And Right!
The crowds are thick right now! But that’s only because this is one of the biggest celebrations here in Nicaragua of the year. That and everyone LOVES the beach!
Here’s a good little example of some of the bigger sets waves in comparison with a duck diving diva. Go Tati GO!!!
Speaking of surfing divas, Rutci was ripping up the lefts down at far bar today

The chicos were trying to impress the ladies as well with their shredding the gnar skills. Everyone have a great time!!

Tatiana had a little bit of some free time to get out and enjoy some waves before she has to get back to preparing some of her delicious flavors of Italian cuisine.

Back to the surfing action… hows this for a beautiful wave and a good look at how many people are enjoying the fun in the sun today at the number one beach break in all of Nicaragua.
Seth, like many other hard working people here in Hacienda Iguana gotta find some play time too… like they say, work hard, play hard!
Rob’s another one too. He’s got twin daughters so that means he’s got double duties or in most cases, double doodies! haha – ya see what I did there?

Who likes a pre-party? WE LOVE A GOOD PRE-PARTY!!! Anyone who’s been to Hacienda Iguana knows or has been to Don Eloys. Its a staple here and the first and original bar in this area. Come out tonight for a Pre-New Years party that’s sure to go off!! The Dj lineup is gonna be off the hook and why not get the New Years festivities started right by heading on by this evening for a few drink and some good food!
Ok party people… I’m still working on my grand finale surf report for mañana.. you’ll have to swing on by tomorrow to see what I am gonna surprise you with. Until then, maybe I’ll see you out at the pre-party and if not, let’s meet here again tomorrow for one last good bye for 2017! Saludos ~

Hey amigos! Josh back behind the lens for next set of days. Monday’s surf report is coming your way from Panga Drops, specifically “French Fries”. The swell was close to non-existent, but Pangas did its magic and magnified the lackluster size into something playful and shreddable.
