Somewhere in Nicaragua
Hey there, Brian logging in with the Friday surf report. It’s that time again and it looks like we have some fun little front runners of that swell we’re supposed to be getting. Check it out!
John made the paddle all the way up the beach for an extra workout and then found this nice little right that he snagged all the way in.
Cross stepping with style the whole way.
With a nice little off the lip on the inside closeout section.
Meanwhile his older brother Josh was giving some surf lessons. Here he’s showing how to do a proper turn on a big fat soft top.
Well, look what the cat brought in. haha it’s Señor Springfield.. looks like he see’s something pretty good out there in the lineup.
MMmm-K! Yeah, I feel ya Dan. Better get out there! Looks pretty fun.
This dude almost got a little cover up, AND he’s going switch stance.
Not very much happening down at the beachie. Those people should make their way down towards me, so much fun. They’re missing out!
The local kids were ripping today!
It’s always good to see Dan back, ESPECIALLY when I see him getting a surf in.
Team Santana was in full effect out there.
Isabel Currey was even out there representing the RS crew as well.
If Peter Mel didn’t already take the nickname “The Condor” I think Josh would fit that moniker just fine!
This (I think) is one of the only waves that doesn’t apply to that saying, “when the wave break here, don’t be there”.
Because this wave you literally have to take off under the lip most of the time.
Textbook small wave cutty, right here!
When the panga shows up to panga, you know it’s where the only waves are.
Well, we are in Central America, not North America, so I think Josh can legally use the Condor nickname, so I’m running with it!
Hmmmm, now to be fair I need to think of good one for John too. Any idea’s or suggestions??
I still can’t believe how well this guy rips going switch stance!!

Hey amigos! Welcome to Tuesday evening’s surf report from Colorados. The swell was bigger and stronger today, but it was very slow between the sets. I think the lack of a secondary swell combined with the sandbars not being in perfect shape made for long waits.
