Somewhere in Nicaragua
Happy Tuesday everyone! It was another fun day out at the playa. We’ll make this Martes theme as a special “two for one” Tuesday.
Not a bad thing to be looking at coming in atcha, right? Just hope you’re sitting in the right spot.
So I got down to the beach and things were looking a little MEH.
But then I peeked around some bushes and trees and saw some nuggets coming in up the way, so I decided to venture a little further North.
Luckily to my surprise, there were not only some fun head high waves reeling in, but some pretty good, stand out surfing going down as well.
This bloke blowing off some steam with this smooth wrapping cutback.
It didn’t take long to realize who the other surfers out who were blowing up the place.
That’s right, Kevin Cortez isn’t a very hard surfer to miss.
Chocoyo was out there keeping up with his Nicaraguan brothers as well. With a little 1…

Dario, on the other hand was the only guy out that I could see representing the Long Board division with some pretty radical style today.
Haha – see what I mean. He was going bonkers out there today.
Jenny is Kevin’s sister, and as you can see surfing runs pretty deep in the familia.

The winds were definitely up and strong this afternoon, but they were a little side shore at times, making it a bit choppy on the wave faces.

Even without the best of conditions, the scenic backdrops here make some pretty photogenic surf sessions!

Everyone (surfing) out there were giving Jean and Simone some pretty good evening entertainment while they were there watching the sun go down.

It’s almost Lynn’s farewell, so I was glad to see her out getting some fun waves in before she has to head back to the states.

Hello and welcome back for your Friday NSR surf report. Today I waited for the tide to come in and just as I thought so did the waves. It was running knee to chest high, the water was toasty and we had semi clean surface conditions.
