Somewhere in Nicaragua
Hola and Happy TGIF everyone! Welcome to the start of what’s looking be a pretty good weekend so far. Lets go play!
Coming through the jungle to get to the fun waves today, all I have to say is, the sand was about 1000 degrees, but the surf was kinda going off with not a whole lot of people out.
This is what semi-sized fun waves look like here in Nica-land.
“L” stands for Love of the waves. Or lovely yoga poses on an empty beach… you choose.
I think the only wall (if we are have to have any walls on this planet) should look like this; but only from time to time.
John J, slip sliding into another styling 5 on his trusty rasta foamy. Not a bad way to spend your afternoon.
Whether it’s cross stepping to the nose with style, or pulling into some crazy offshore barrels… I think it’s safe to say this is the place I wish I had spent my teen years growing up.
This local kid’s heading home after a hard days work. Do you think he’s gonna go grab his surfboard?
John John, you’re really starting to make me wish I had moved to Nicaragua when I was your age.
The winds were in full effect today.
And since the winds were so great, some people took to the old adage of “go fly a kite” to heart. If you’re not really a surfer, it really was good day to go fly a kite!
I’m not sure if Oscar has seen people flying kites or not…. but he looks pretty impressed about it!
It’s always good to have a backup plan. This one is called the ol’ step off.
I think this one is called, just keep driving down the line for good measure, just in case that party crasher pulls out last minute.

I’ve got a hunch this month is going to be pretty epic. So be like these two amigos and get down here soon, so you can surf this place without the crowds in a couple months.It’s been a long day so SBS is out., but real quick, I did make it out for some surf myself at the end of the day and there were definitely some nice sets coming in… so check back tomorrow to see what we have…. it might be pretty good mañana!
