The surf was small but clean here at Santana beach. Many little ones consistently breaking all over the beach.
Many of the young locals were out, practicing and polishing their maneuvers like this nice bottom turn.
Or this roundhouse cutback to vertical snap combo… these kids are getting better really fast!
Mikaela was happy to get in the water today… the wind is super calm which means that the heat is strong and suffocating, nothing better than have a mid-morning session.
And if you know where to wait for the waves, you could have a great session!
You can ask Christopher about his session, he was ripping (as always) the lefts, throwing buckets on every turn.
There was a bodysurfer having a great time with the in-between sets waves.
And also a kneeboarder too… I guess the waves were the perfect size and shape to try many waves of surfing.
First peak was kinda working, not too fast but with clean faces to do some nice cutbacks.
And also some dirty little barrels too.
Here is Chris with a vertical attack to the lip, almost the whole board going above the wave… this photo could work as a Screensaver, don’t you think?
3 lobsters and a Parrot fish for $20 dollars, that’s a cheap dinner for 3 people… anyone interested?
That’s it for today folks. The day is hot and I’m going to find some shade and a pool to hang out the rest of the day. Come back tomorrow with Bryan’s surf report from Colorado and Panga Drops.
RECENT REPORTS
Hey everyone! Welcome to Tuesday’s surf report from Panga Drops. The swell was notably stronger than I expected. Some early season Pacific power! Middle peak was the place to be, but it was windy.
FROM THE ARCHIVES
Hola amigos & welcome back for the Sunday Funday edition surf report from sunny Nicaragua. Today we had some small to medium size surf with some bigger set coming through every now & then and some gusty to light off shores blowing throughout the day.
