It’s aways fun to get away from the mundane. We decided to explore some spots a little further north… and the exploration paid off huge today!

This is exactly what we rolled up to. Now you see why I’m saying we pretty much scored!

Empty peak with a not-so-empty lineup, but if you chose your position wisely, this little gem could be all yours!

Sit a little further out or a little deeper, and this Bigger Gem could be yours as well.

I was down with the rights today as they seemed to be the better of the split peaks; but there were definitely some good lefts to be had also.

This is my friend Yanai Deitsch, taking off on a nice set peak at this undisclosed surf spot. It’s also his Birthday today. Happy Birthday my friend!

This is Idan Kurzman, he’s visiting here with Yanai from Israel as well. Ripping!!

There was one solo chica out there laying it down for the female surfers out there today.

Conditions were pretty magical I’d say.

Good to see my good pal JJosh LePell out there snagging some of the juicy lefts.

This wave has a pretty fast and steep take off…

that being said, its easy to miss the barrel unless you takeoff sideways.

Like this! Then all you have to do is dodge the shoulder hoppers and people paddling back out. Easy Breezy!

Peek-A-Boo, I See you Yanai!!!

Peaks for days, choose your own Teepee! They’re everywhere.

Just by looking at this turn, I wouldn’t say you’re a day over 25 hermanito!

The lighting and water color today was absolutely magnificent. So was the surfing!

This is what a Birthday “Bro” party wave looks like.

This is what is looks like when a local kid surfs this wave every single day. (and on an added note, also how to get super deep on your duck dives if you see the kid on the far left).

Another local stand out Mario Martinez just getting warmed up. He ended up jumping in a little before we were about to head out, but this kid rips on the norm here at this spot.

More local talent than you can count on one hand here at this surf spot.

The inevitable “One that got away” wave. So clean, so pretty, so much wind, UGH!!

There were some REALLY BIG fish out there jumping in the lineup today.

There were some micro sized barrels as well. But as long as you’re covered up, in this Nica sun, it’s a win win!

Giant Man gouges never felt better!!

It sure was a good day today, right, Idan?!?
RECENT REPORTS

Hey everyone! Welcome to Friday’s surf report from Colorados. It was another small, but fun day of waves. Looks like the last mellow day for a good eight to nine days. Finley managed to find a couple of tubitos.
FROM THE ARCHIVES

We got there early so we could get on it with the low tide, here’s Dave laying down some nice rail work at this super fun left hand point break with some magical morning light. I wonder if he’s happy with this wave…
