Somewhere in Nicaragua
What’s going on everybody?! This is Parker wishing you a happy humpday. It’s been a great day in NICA Land and there’s even more good stuff to come this afternoon. Check it out!!
Ok so first (and most importantly), the surf. It’s fun! Yesterday was pretty small but there’s a new pulse of energy. It’s only supposed to get better soooo keep those fingers crossed!
We shoot the beachie frequently so why not check out what’s happening up at the reef? Those two waves are polar opposites in almost every category. Let’s check out this rolling right.
Schwack numero uno. I love how (on the right day) this wave can be a friendly crumbling wall. On other days, you’ll see freight trains steaming to the beach.

But, there’s something to be said for the beachies- even if it’s small and peeling.
I like how this wave has so many different peaks, features, and sections… if you know it well. Other times, she can be quite frustrating.
Do we have a wild Roger sighting?! This hombre surfs this spot everyday- regardless of the conditions.
Look for a friendly guy who is stoked on life. How can you not when you retire in Nicaragua?!
Ohh well hello there… How ya doing??
One more fun right to show off. Sit outside to catch the long powerful rollers or hang a little inside to avoid the lineup and increase your wave count.
Let’s change gears for a minute. I sent some friends in Casa Rio fishing today. Let’s see how they did…
Josh said they caught a total of 27 fish. They gave handfuls to the captain and took over 15 peanut mahi mahis home with them. I’m going to take a wild guess here, but I think they will be eating fish tacos tonight.
The girls went too… and had a blast!! How can you not love it: beautiful morning, cruising on a boat, catching fish, and hanging with pretty ladies. Tough life man.

Ok so we surfed, we fished, and the plan is to hop in the Hacienda Iguana afternoon golf scramble. Depending on how many Tonas, cigars, and pork tacos are enjoyed depends if we upload some action. Thank you all for checking in with us and we hope you have an epic day too!
