Hello everybody and Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there! We hope y’all are enjoying/enjoyed your special day. Guys, while the moms step out of the room for a second, check out the shots from today… it was firing!
Before we get started with the action, let’s dedicate this report to the moms, especially the Queen of NSR: Hace Queso. You all are the ones who raised us, loved us (even during those hard times), and do all the leg work behind the scenes. Though we strive to everyday, today we celebrate you, appreciate you, and want you to take the wave of the day!
Ok, so thank you moms for bringing us to Playa Colorado with some fun surf!!!
This pulse filled in a little early but Oscar wasn’t complaining. We’ll settle on calling it head high. Fair?
That thing swallowed him up!! For a second, I didn’t know what was going on in there or if he’d make it…
BUT, the Espinoza brothers excel in the tubes and make more waves than anybody else around. Sick one, Oscar!
Maycol is another ripper from Santa Marta. Looks like he’s starting to fill the big shoes of the other shredders from there.
Everybody says we have the dream job. Yeah, well watching this untouched gem scream through (in the moment) doesn’t make me feel like I have the dream job!!
We think tomorrow could be another fun day of swell. Charts are showing things max out this afternoon and plenty of fun waves tomorrow and into Tuesday. Fingers crossed…
I woke up this morning and saw a few forerunners but by late morning, it was pumping!!
I’m not sure what you’re supposed to say (or do) in this moment…
At least the snake got a pocket ride out of it. And it was a gem of a right.
In the meantime, let’s just slow down, take our time checking the waves, and paddle out with a good mentality. We’re here on vacation (or living) for the same reasons: to have fun surfing.
I don’t know about you, but there are always more peaks and more waves to come around. This morning was a good one!!

Keep your eye on the southern peak! While the majority is looking for a right, you might see a left squeak through. That’s the joy of a beach break: it’s always changing.
How about how much Oscar’s surfing has changed, or improved? Getting barreled, throwing crazy hacks, and now sticking airs.
What’s your plan for the afternoon? A nice dinner with your lovely ladies? Or visit Tube Town for the dropping tide? Like every Sunday, you’ll find a lively beach club happy hour and volleyball game. So my vote is D all the above.

Hello everybody, we have a fun surf session in the morning. The swell is bringing some heavy waves, not big but strong. There are two peak working good. Today I was taking water shot, so check it out some of the tubes of the crew.

The offshore wind keep strong in the morning and come down in the afternoon so the rights were opening really well. The average is shoulder high with sets every five to ten minutes..
