Somewhere in Nicaragua
Hola amigos! Welcome to todays surf report. We currently have some big chunky waves coming in from this new swell. It’s a little unorganized, but the surfers were out and trying to make the best of it.
The weather, although it was calling for 90% chance of rains by this late afternoon, still made for a great beach walk around sunset time. p.s. the rain never came.
But the peanut gallery did. All eyes on things like….

But the thing just outran him. You can’t win em all, despite the great effort!
The winds weren’t so offshore, so it was pretty crumbly, hence making the barrels (what little of them there were out there) look like a hunting game of seek and find.
The side shore and onshore winds pair well with the air game here like a crackers n fruit and a good white wine. Although, Jeison is more of Flor de Caña kind of guy.
If anyone was to find a good barrel out there, it would be of course, Carlos Perez.

Lets hope them devil onshore winds calm down by tomorrow so we can enjoy this beautiful swell.

Matter of fact, this just doesn’t even look fun at all. haha Best to take full advantage of happy hour today and watch the carnage go down from the playa.

As expected, the onshore winds have come (which we knew would happen due to the mayhem that’s hitting the Atlantic ocean side from Hurricane IRMA right now). There are a lot of people here who have friends and family from the east coast..

Hello everybody. Usually after a good swell the next days the waves are friendly and playful. There are new surfers arriving and they are founding this nice surf condition. The offshore is nice in the morning and increase in the noon, so everybody is surfing in the morning.
