Somewhere in Nicaragua
Happy Tuesday surf amigos! Today the waves, wind, water temps, heck even the water color was super awesome! Everything came together for those who came out to play earlier today, so step on in to check it out!
Just coming off a big Nicaraguan Holiday weekend, today really feels like the start of the week, since everyone was all partied out and heading home yesterday.
The surf was a really fun playful size and the weather was spectacular, but what really shined today was the amazing crystal clear blue water.
Tropical Azul, and glassy in-between the light offshore breezes. Here’s my buddy Jaun setting up for a little bit of some early morning work.

Jeison came out to play early too, much like the rest of the people who came here to surf.

I had to do a double take, as I thought this was our homie Gavin. I thought, “NO WAY” Gav’s back in town… then I realized this guy’s a regular foot. Hey Gavin, if you have Wifi and you’re reading this from your remote surf spot in Indo, check it out… I found your doppelganger!!

Not sure who this dude is, but he’s learned pretty quickly that the best place to find shade in Nicaragua is RIGHT THERE!
John G, always nabs the biggest sets of the day whenever he’s out surfing.
Wakita Takayuki, a well known Japanese Pipeline surfer actually has a spot on that reef named after him after putting in so many years of sitting so deep at the infamous wave. I vote we name John’s take off spot, the G spot! haha Love ya Big John!!!

Possibly the number one reason people will be visiting the new clinic. Ohhhh, them surfers, I tell you!! I know well over 2 hand full counts of people who made the trip over the the Rancho Santana clinic for quick stitches…. Hopefully now people can get fixed up a little more easily.
