Glassy, in some cases. Looks like we might have some light at the end of our windy onshore tunnel.
It’s been a little tricky to try and time shooting the surf report. Between bad weather and nobody going out to surf, it certainly makes for a little happy dance inside when you do get to the beach and see someone surfing.
Like this hombre navigating through the tough sections on this warbily left.
Nice one buddy. That was a long one almost all the way in to the beach, dude!
The day is only getting better as I see more surfers making their way to the playa.
These guys brining out the big logs to play today.
The only chica out was picking off some nice rides.
This is the best conditions I’ve seen for a while now.
Uh oh!!! That’s not a good sign.
Neither is this.
You wound’t be able to tell from this photo, but the set that cleaned everyone up just a couple of minutes prior, I’m sure is what caused this.
and this as well. A broken board and a broken leash = two less surfers in the water. No Bueno!!!
At least I still have this hard charging chica still out there.
Well…. scratch that. Looks like everyone’s already calling it a day.
Here’s the amigo of the other buddy who snapped his 9’ 6”.
He’s got the right idea. It’s always smart to use the buddy system anytime you’re surfing. Here he is looking for his friend to make sure he made it in ok.
At the end of the day, if you can walk away smiling or laughing, then you’re doing something right. Despite the loss of your $600 surfboard. Time to jam home and grab your backup board amigo!! Alright everyone, glad we have a little turn in the weather today. Hopefully it gets even better by tomorrow. Thanks for stopping by! Cheers ~
